What will you do?

As a Preperation Engineer at D&S, you are responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating technical activities. You create detailed work orders, budgets, and schedules, and coordinate the purchasing process. Together with your colleagues, you ensure efficient project execution, monitoring both progress and quality.

You work closely with departments such as engineering, production, and maintenance to ensure that all materials and resources are available. Additionally, you are responsible for managing external parties, including contractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating schedules, budgets, and work orders
  • Coordinating material procurement and planning
  • Ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards
  • Managing and guiding subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitoring project progress and handling administrative tasks

Who You Are

As a Preperation Engineer, you possess excellent organisational and planning skills. You have experience in a technical environment, can communicate well with various stakeholders, and have an eye for detail. You’re flexible, have a problem-solving mindset, and bring a hands-on attitude.

Your Competencies:

  • Vocational or Bachelor’s level education, preferably in a technical field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Work Planner
  • Experience with an ERP system is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Attention to safety and quality
