Process Water Systems

Water is vitally important for the production of food, both as an ingredient and as part of cleaning your installations. The water needs to be available within your process at the right temperature, the right pressure, and the correct quality. D&S has developed two systems for this purpose, our cold and hot process water units.

Cold Process Water Unit

Cold Process Water Unit

The cold process water unit ensures that after treatment (softening and/or RO), the process water is buffered, circulated, and maintained at condition. The unit is equipped with one or more pressure-regulated circulation loops, which ensure that the pressure at all points in the process is constant. The unit is optionally equipped with a UV system and optionally a cooler to ensure that the cold process water always meets the right quality standards.

Hot Process Water Unit

Hot Process Water Unit

The Hot Process Water Unit ensures that after treatment (softening and/or RO), the process water is buffered, circulated, and kept in condition. The unit is equipped with one or more pressure-regulated circulation loops, which ensure that the pressure at all points in the process is constant. The unit also has a heating loop that ensures that the water remains at the correct temperature.

  • Steam or electric heating
