The Role

This project engineer is involved with the technical aspects of the project, estimates and calculations, and the coordination of the work. A project engineer is not only office-based but also frequently on-site at a project. There, you inspect the technical progress of the project and ensure that any technical problems are resolved or prevented.

The project engineer is responsible for the design, consistency, and functionality of the project.

Some tasks include:

  • Ensuring the design, consistency, and functionality of the project.
  • Overseeing compliance with criteria associated with projects.
  • Performing quality control in various areas.
  • Providing technical support to the project manager and other team members.
  • Reviewing technical deliverables.
  • Initiating appropriate solutions when problems occur.
  • During the quote phase, the project engineer is involved in determining the technical feasibility and executability.
